Venice is one of the most photogenic cities in the world. With narrow canals, charming locals, and colorful buildings, it truly is a photographer dream.

So far on the blog, I’ve explained what to know before visiting Venice and given my two cents as far as riding a gondala during said visit. However, personally I find my inspiration to visit a destination through images. So instead of drafting a guide in an attempt to convince you to drop everything and purchase a ticket to Venice, I’ve ordered Indian take-out and sifted through my travel photos to provide you with a photo diary. WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS ABOUT FLORENCE?

When I first began planning my trip to Italy, I had only a few concrete ideas in my head. I knew I wanted to visit Rome {because, it’s Rome}. I also knew I wanted to spend some time floating on the town of Venice. After that it became a question of which coastal village I wanted to soak up the most rays. And finally, I was certain I wanted to go wine tasting in the Tuscany region.
