Zadar was definitely a more laid back destination in Croatia, compared to the other locations I visited. Personally, I used Zadar as a halfway point when traveling between the Plitvice Lakes and Spit. With only 24 hours in the small seaside town, I attempted to make the most.

Chitwan National Park Safari: What to Expect
On the second day of my stay at the Barauli Community Homestay, one of the local boys took us on a safari through Chitwan National Park. We traveled through marshy grassland, all the while keeping our eyes peeled for rhinos. You are never guaranteed a rhino sighting while on safari, so we got extremely lucky when we eventually came across a few.

The only thing I knew about Jaipur before visiting, was that it’s referred to as “the pink city”. An entire city slathered in my favorite color? SOLD. Once I arrived, however, I realized it’s more of a… terra-cotta? Regardless, it was stunning.

My absolute favorite aspect of traveling, is capturing a country through the lens of my Nikon D3300. Sure, I enjoy meeting fellow travelers abroad, and I live for the moments that take my breath away. But I can’t explain the pure joy the overcomes me when I sit down, and insert my SD card after a trip. Just me?

With such a limited time in any given destination, it can be difficult to decide on an itinerary. Usually, I attempt to build an itinerary from scratch, but sometimes it’s easiest to leave it up to the blogosphere. I decided to follow Find Us Lost‘s itinerary from the original blog post: 24 Hours in Kyoto. I am an avid follower of Find Us Lost, and found this itinerary fit my needs perfectly. While I must admit transportation around Kyoto took a bit longer than anticipated, I was still able to fit the highlights in. Continue reading to see my photo diary of Kyoto.
A Photo Diary: Singapore
Crazy Rich Asians only just entered movie theaters here in South Korea. Therefore, Gena and I immediately purchased tickets on opening weekend and had a few laughs. These laughs were completely independent from the rest of the audience sitting in silence {due to the humor of some jokes getting lost in translation}. For anyone that has watched an English movie in an Asian movie theater, you know what I’m talking about. Regardless, it was a spectacular film based in the one and only Singapore! Continue Reading
Joo Chiat: The Most Instagrammable Neighborhood in Singapore
Ever since the Myspace days, I have been obsessed with photography {if we could even call it that} and photo editing. Back then it was a sad attempt at what I thought to be creative, original editing styles. In fact, for the longest time {including just a couple of years ago} my photos were over saturated, poorly framed, and unoriginal. While it can still be a struggle to create original takes on popular destinations, it’s refreshing to stumble upon {fairly} ‘new’ territory and let the creative juices flow. And yet that’s exactly what happened in Singapore when I ventured into the neighborhood of Joo Chiat. Continue Reading

Photo diaries are some of my favorite blog posts to click on. They really provide you with an overall vibe of a destination from a unique perspective. Or, sometimes, a not so unique perspective. It’s true that this day in age so many bloggers and Instagrammers alike are constantly gaining inspiration from one another – sometimes to a fault. Continue Reading
30 Photos to Inspire You to Visit Belize
Belize is a magical place. In terms of my bucket list destinations, however, it never really held a high rank. Nevertheless, last year the country tempted me with it’s giant temples, dense jungles, and dreamy beaches. I eventually decided to take a solo journey to Belize, and it became one of my favorite destinations in the world. Continue Reading
