It’s no surprise that I truly honed in on my brunch skills last year. When you live in New York, you don’t really have a choice. Brunch is a sport in the big apple, and I went full on ‘put me in coach!’ in 2017. Add ‘bottomless’ to the beginning of it, and you have an entire afternoon planned. Today I’m sharing the best bottomless brunch spots {on a budget} in New York City.

VIDEO: ONE YEAR IN NEW YORK CITY
Last year I made the spontaneous decision to move to the big apple. Two weeks before I arrived, I purchased a one-way, red-eye flight to JFK. As I predicted, my life changed dramatically after moving to New York City. For my 26th birthday, I gifted myself with a GoPro Hero 5. Here is some of the footage I took last year, complied into a nostalgic montage featuring life in the concrete jungle. Continue Reading
A Complete Guide to Moving to New York City
Ever since I can remember, moving to New York City has been a dream of mine. I think back to the first time I drove across the Manhattan Bridge to enter the concrete jungle. It was 2010 and I was set to spend an east coast summer in the Hampton’s. A calming sensation fell over me as soon as I heard the sound of sirens and car horns blaring. The true sign of someone meant to live in a city. Continue Reading
CINQUE TERRE, ITALY: A PHOTO DIARY
Cinque Terre quickly became my favorite location in Italy, and one of my top destinations in Europe. I will never forget the moment I laid eyes on the cliffs of Riomaggorie for the first time. Or the time I tasted the freshest pesto in Manorola. Or when I dipped under the crystal clear waters in Monterosso. Continue Reading
VIDEO: SOUTH KOREA VLOG 9
Last week I decided to record the {not so thrilling, somewhat mundane} realities of being an EPIK teacher here in Daegu, South Korea. Life as an expat is always interesting, but it still brings with it plenty of routine and responsibilities. That being said, every day keeps getting better with my tiny humans and I’m so grateful to lead the life I do. Side note – HAPPY 4TH OF JULY to everyone back home in the states! Continue Reading
2 WEEK ITINERARY OF ITALY: ROME, FLORENCE, TUSCANY, VENICE, & CINQUE TERRE
I understand how daunting it can be to begin planning a trip. That being said, trip planning is my absolute favorite thing to do… Hence the endless travel I partake in. I do, however, remember the stress that came about when I set out to plan a three month journey around Europe. It felt overwhelming to say the least. Regardless, I did it, and {for the most part – aside from forgetting to book accommodation in Dubrovnik, Croatia} it unfolded seamlessly. Today, I wanted to share how I spent my two weeks in Italy in hopes that it may inspire to start planning your own adventure. Continue Reading
RECOLLECTIONS EN ROUTE: WHERE TO FIND THE BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD
“Authentic Italian food is unlike anything you’ll ever taste”, they said. “Once you have mozzarella in Italy, you’ll never be the same”, they said. “Italy is home to the best pizza in the world“, they said. Were they right? Continue Reading
WHERE TO STAY IN CINQUE TERRE, ITALY
I was hesitant to draft this post simply because there are so many like it in the blogosphere. Everyone has an opinion on which of the five villages to stay in during a visit to Cinque Terre. And more often than not, you can find a blog post {or hundreds} stating the pros and cons of each. With that in mind, I decided to keep it short and quick. Continue Reading
VIDEO: SOUTH KOREA VLOG 8
It’s officially been 4 months since I moved to South Korea. I’ve collected random footage over the last couple of weeks including hiking Palgongsan Mountain to Gatbawi in Daegu and traveling back to Busan with my partner in crime. Continue Reading
10 Things to Know Before Teaching English in South Korea
Previously, I shared a post explaining 10 things the EPIK program fails to tell you before you begin teaching in South Korea. Now I am here to share the things EPIK does tell you prior to arriving in Korea, and during orientation, that you should pay close attention to.
