Well folks, my normal has become somewhat abnormal, and yet… we’re going with it. My life in South Korea has reached a point where I feel pretty comfortable navigating my daily surroundings. I moved to Korea over two months ago. Some days it feels like I’ve lived here for two years, and some days I feel like time is slipping through my fingers like {unfiltered Korean} water. RECOLLECTIONS EN ROUTE: AN AIR BNB NIGHTMARE IN PARIS
I first must disclose that while the experience I am about to share was horrendous to say the least, I have generally had a fantastic experience with Air Bnb over the years. But hey, not every system is perfect. And if you can’t look back and laugh on your slight misfortunes in life, than you are doing it wrong. Continue Reading
SOUTH KOREA: VLOG 5
Follow me as I attend the Daegu Art Museum and the Daegaya Festival where I master the art of eating, picking, and wearing strawberries. I also celebrate {from afar} the engagement of my best friend of 22 years.
Apologies for the lack of vlog last week. If you follow me on Instagram you will know the story behind it. Regardless, regular vlogs are scheduled to continue in the upcoming weeks! Including my first road trip in South Korea.
PALACE OF VERSAILLES: A PHOTO DIARY
The Palace of Versailles is one of the most photogenic landmarks in France. You may recognize the infamous Hall of Mirrors and the Orangery from social media, magazines, blogs, etc. Before stepping foot on the estate, I was determined to capture the perfect shot of those trademark images. That being said, nearly every inch of the Palace of Versailles and it’s estate, is photo-worthy. In fact, some of my favorite photos from the property were not your standard shots. Continue Reading

“Paris, the city of lovers is glowing this evening, true that’s because it’s on fire but still there’s l’amour” — The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Fun fact you may not know about me: I constantly listen to Disney movie soundtracks when drafting blog posts {and in life in general}. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that during my first trip to Paris, I made it my mission to get a peek at what it was those Gargoyles were constantly singing about in the Hunchback of Notre Dame. HOW TO PREPARE FOR A VISIT TO THE PALACE OF VERSAILLES
Unfortunately, I did not prioritize well enough to include a trip to the Palace of Versailles during my first visit to Paris. Therefore, when I returned to the city of love on a whim, I was sure to book tickets and drag Sarah along for the journey.
SOUTH KOREA: VLOG 4

THANK YOU to everyone who put in the effort to make sure my birthday was unforgettable! And cheers to entering my late twenties feelings the most alive I’ve ever been.
South Korea’s Largest Cherry Blossom Festival: A Day in Jinhae
Every year, Jinhae hosts an annual Cherry Blossom Festival. It’s the largest of it’s kind in South Korea, and this year I was lucky enough to attend. Continue Reading
ON TURNING 27 IN SOUTH KOREA
So, I lied to my third graders.
SOUTH KOREA: VLOG 3
This week I did some shopping, attended the Seomun Night Market, and took a stroll around Suseong Lake with a couple of my faves. Unfortunately I caught a cold this week, so the vlog is a tad shorter than normal. Promise I will make up for it next week!
