I didn’t realize how many times I actually went out for drinks in London until I began drafting this guide. The thing is I rarely ever purchased more than one drink in a sitting. But hey, it’s an easy excuse to get together with friends, meet new people, and let loose after a week of whatever it is that consumes you. Continue Reading

NOTABLE NORMALCIES // 4.10.17
The last couple of weeks have included a plethora of ups and downs. A real roller coaster ride, if you will. Which I most often won’t. Like everyone else on the planet, I do not enjoy when my world gets completely turned around. Coming out of my birthday weekend, I felt unusually low. Many factors played into this feeling I possessed, however being a big girl now {26}, I felt the only way to get past the feeling was to simply live through it.
YOU MAY HAVE THE UNIVERSE IF I MAY HAVE LONDON
You may have the universe if I may have London.
Take it all. You may have my happiness, my health, and my sense of purpose.
May all your dreams come to fruition, just give me London. Continue Reading
A Gluten Free Brunch Guide to London
I feel as though I should preface this post by disclosing some information about my dieting needs. I have an intolerance to gluten. I have been aware of it for almost four years now. Like I mentioned in my last post here, a lot of changes have been surfacing in my life. I was promoted at work {yayyyyyyyy}, the eve of my 26th birthday is fast approaching {as in tomorrow}, and I am taking some risks regarding my future. Through all of it, I feel myself growing. Continue Reading
WELCOMING SPRING AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH
“If flowers can teach themselves how to bloom after winter passes, so can you”
Technically, it’s spring in New York. But you could have fooled me. On the official ‘first day of spring’, I was walking around a snow covered Central Park. This being said, I witnessed the first buds of the year peeking through the fresh powder. And it gave me hope. Continue Reading
THE MOST STUNNING VIEWS IN NEW YORK CITY FOR UNDER $3
As I mentioned last week, my very best friend of over twenty years was in town for a whopping five days. Now, five days in New York feels more like five minutes. Much like London, there is so much to see and do in this city that five years still may not be an acceptable amount of time to consider it an accomplished visit. Continue Reading
NOTABLE NORMALCIES / 3.24.17
Yet again, I was blessed with the presence of another visitor this past weekend. This time, my best friend of over twenty years arrived at JFK, ready for an east coast adventure. There were a few highlights to this weekend that deserve sharing. Even though the most entertaining moments included lying in bed utilizing snapchat filters and crying from laughter. It’s the simple things, folks. I was sad to see her leave, especially with the somewhat {okay, extremely} chaotic week I have had. There is no better feeling than coming home to your best friend to vent, laugh, and drink too much wine. Continue Reading
