I grew up in California, though I lack a nice tan and the ability to surf. Think more wine tasting, less beach bumming.
I took my first international trip to England when I was 14 years old. During my third year at University, I studied abroad in New Zealand. It was only then that I realized the travel bug had found a new victim. Since 2012, I have visited 38 countries and lived in Australia, New Zealand {again}, London, New York City, and South Korea.
I hold a degree in Political Science and Legal Studies, but find myself reading travel blogs, and planning adventures abroad in nearly every desk job I accept. I believe it’s possible to incorporate travel into your daily life, and I am here to inspire you to do so.
Traveling the world has changed my life. I have had the pleasure of traveling with friends, family, and a significant other abroad, though I am a huge advocate for solo travel. Thinking of planning your first solo trip abroad? You can read my complete how-to guide here. Already abroad and looking for travel tips for multiple destinations around the globe? You will find them all here.

A short while ago, I quit my job in San Diego in order to, once again, pursue a life abroad. And, as fate would have it {read: hard work, research, long visa processes}, I was offered a position to teach English in Prague, Czech Republic. I have been living in Prague since August 2022.
I hope you will follow me en route during this next chapter of my life.
