My trip to Central America was by far my favorite solo adventure thus far. I met so many incredible people and witnessed truly remarkable destinations along the way. Temple climbing, cuddling with iguanas, and swimming with sharks were only some of the activities which kept me busy. Of all things I wanted to do and see in Belize and Guatemala, witnessing Mayan ruins was at the top of the list. After all, I was visiting an area of the world with an abundant supply of them. Guatemala, Mexico, and Belize are all home to famous ancient ruins.
