My absolute favorite aspect of traveling, is capturing a country through the lens of my Nikon D3300. Sure, I enjoy meeting fellow travelers abroad, and I live for the moments that take my breath away. But I can’t explain the pure joy the overcomes me when I sit down, and insert my SD card after a trip. Just me?
As you might have read previously, I had anticipated my trip to Japan since moving to Korea earlier this year. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that I returned home with 2,000+ images on my camera. While I don’t find Asia {in general}, the most aesthetically pleasing area of the world, it didn’t stop me from finding the beauty in Japan.
A lot of people choose to visit Japan as their first destination in Asia. While I completely understand why, I wasn’t blown away by the country after visiting South Korea beforehand. Even so, I preferred many characteristics of Japan over Korea. I hope you enjoy these photos, and they give you one {of a million} reasons to visit this island in Asia.

Have you ever been to Japan? What was your favorite city? Coming up on the blog are all things South Korea. Including a guide to renewing your American passport successfully, my advice to new EPIK teachers in Daegu, and how I take my solo travel photos. Watch this space!

Wow, a lot of these were not what I was expecting at all! Japan looks so incredible, and I love your editing style.
Thank you so much! I did include some more “typical” Japan pics in my other posts, but didn’t want to have too many repeats. Thanks for stopping by the blog – I truly appreciate it. Have you ever been to Japan? x
